    02 / OUTPUT SETTINGS

    This tool re-encodes the pixels and strips metadata from the new file. PNG is the lossless output option. JPG and WebP can change quality. Output names are generic. Visible information inside the picture is not removed.

    JPG replaces transparent areas with white. Animated images export a single frame. Original metadata is not copied; colors may change when converting wide-gamut images.

    The tool decodes the picture, applies its display orientation, and writes a new file. Embedded EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, comments and original color-profile blocks are not carried over. Colors may change. Camera details and location written visibly in the picture remain visible.

    PNG keeps decoded pixels without lossy compression. This is not a lossless metadata-only edit of the original file. HEIC and AVIF are exported in the format you select. Animated images and multi-image HEIC containers export one still image.
